In this cradle of democracy, more than 3 million people are registered to vote. I say we should all go to the polls. We have many patriots in our military cemeteries, veterans' hospitals and general population. Also, the millions who obey the laws and live useful, contributing lives are patriotic.
But there is another test of patriotism. A patriot goes to the polls. A patriot remembers how many excruciating sacrifices have been made for the precious right of the ballot. If you don't like anyone on the slate, there's room for a write-in. But, whatever you do, vote!
