Margaret G. Whitehead, 75, of the 1800 block of Jet Circle, died Oct. 12, 1996, after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late Winfred and Captola Powers. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rena Todd of Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gerald Whitehead; a daughter, Geraldine Brandt and her husband, Tom, of Florence, Ky.; a son, Richard Whitehead and his companion, Laura Chadwick of Baltimore, Md. Other survivors include five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
By her wishes, Mrs. Whitehead's body will be donated to science. No services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.
