DeAnna Gurganus Moore, 36, died Oct. 12, 1996, at a Norfolk hospital.
A Norfolk native, she was a graduate of Kempsville High School and Tidewater Community College. Mrs. Moore was employed by the city of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, David S. Moore; parents, William C. and Dorothy Gurganus; and a host of family and friends in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to your favorite charity.
