Leslie H. Smith, 87, formerly of Burson Drive, died Oct. 14, 1996.
Born in Halifax, N.C., he was the widower of Gaddis Smith. Mr. Smith retired from the Norfolk Naval Base after 30 years service. He was a deacon and member of Deep Creek Church of Christ Disciples.
Survivors include his cousin, Mildred Green; sister-in-law, Estelle Smith; niece, Deloris Sealey; nephew, Simeon Smith; and a host of the great-nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Deep Creek Church of Christ Disciples by Elder Robert D. Ross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at 211 Diamond Ave. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
