Louise M. Thomas, of the 600 block of W. 36th St., died Oct. 14, 1996, in DePaul Hospital.
Born in South Hampton County, she was the widow of Ralph Thomas. She was a nursing assistant for Hill Haven. Mrs. Thomas also was a member of St. Andrews Temple and involved in the Mothers Board.
Survivors include a daughter, Valerie M. Skinner of Norfolk; two sons, Ralph S. Thomas of Norfolk, Von C. Wiggins of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Andrews Church Temple, Norfolk, by the Rev. Lauretta Jones. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton. The remains will be ready for viewing at 4 p.m. today. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession.
