The 26th Street bridge over the Lafayette River will be closed to through traffic today until Sunday for repair work.
Bridge repairs are expected to be completed by the fall of 1997. To accommodate repairs, all through traffic will be detoured to Lindenwood Avenue. Motorists are asked to use caution and to allow extra time for travel.
