Virginia Bunch McGehee, 68, of the 600 block of Apache Road, died Oct. 16, 1996, in her home.
A native of Norfolk County, she was a retired computer technician for the Naval Supply Center and a member of Alexander Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gene H. McGehee; two daughters, Sharon Ward and her husband, Bill, Susan Johnson and her husband, Steve, all of Portsmouth; a son, Richard McGehee of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Marie Croom and Frances Bunch, both of Portsmouth; three brothers, Lonnie Bunch of Brandon, Fla., Richard Bunch of Durham, N.C., Wesley Bunch of Temperance, Mich.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Alexander Baptist Church by the Rev. John Burr and Dr. Roscoe Musselwhite. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation. The family suggests memorial contributions to Alexander Baptist Church Building Fund.
