Mrs. Helen Lawson, 77, the wife of the late Mr. Eugene A. Lawson of 834 Lexington St., died Oct. 16, 1996, at 1 p.m.
A native of Newport News, she was the daughter of the late Mrs. Mamie Warren and the late Mr. Steve Warren. She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church, the True Diving Club and the Usher Board (NU)2.
Surviving are her three sons, the Rev. Clarence A. Lawson and, Mr. Charles Lawson, both of Norfolk, and Dr. Eugene Lawson of New York; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Davis of Philadelphia and Miss Diane Lawson and Denise Lawson, both of Norfolk; and a host of grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in Queen Street Baptist Church with Riddick's Funeral Service, Norfolk, officiating. The family of the late Helen Lawson will meet at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
