Maggie Runell Gay, 46, of the 2700 block of Monrovia Drive, died Oct. 11, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, participating as a spiritual worker of Christ Bus Ministry and as an Outreach worker for senior citizens. She received recognition from the Convert Completion.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Gay of Norfolk; three sisters, Ms. Linda Cheatham of Norfolk, Mrs. Edwina M. DuBose of Virginia Beach and Ms. Janice Ridley of New Jersey; three brothers, Mr. Anthony T. Tucker, Mr. Harvey L. Tucker and Mr. William Tucker, all of Norfolk; and grandchildren, Shuntia Gay, Jamar Gay and Endia Gay, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, by Pastor Courtney McBath. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Saturday at 2755 Monrovia Drive for the procession to the church.
