Paul Revere Gregory, 90, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1996, in Lovingston Health Care Center.
Born in Norfolk on Aug. 10, 1906, he was a son of the late Frank Sylvester Gregory and Grace McLead Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a retired supervisor at the Norfolk Naval Supply Center, N.O.B., member and deacon emeritus of Jonesboro Baptist Church and an avid woodworker.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lahoma Holleman Gregory; a son, Gary Gregory and wife, Lillie of Lyndhurst; a daughter, Sandra Belanga, and husband, Marshall, of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald M., Frank N., and Malcolm M. Gregory; and a sister, Grace B. Gornto.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Jonesboro Baptist Church by the Rev. John W. Robertson. Burial wll be in Jonesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, Roseland, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roseland Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 39, Roseland, Va. 22967 or the Jonesboro Cemetery Association, Roseland, Va. 22967.
