NORMAN E. PAVEY

Norman E. ``Gene'' Pavey, 54, of the 4500 block of Lee Avenue, died Oct. 19, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Pavey was a native of Norfolk and was an engineer technician at Hassell & Folkes P.C. in Chesapeake. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia L. Pavey; a daughter, Deborah Adams of Norfolk; sons Samuel E. Pavey of Portsmouth and Joseph E. Pavey of Lake Worth, Fla.; parents, Eddie and Maude Pavey of Virginia Beach; a sister, Sandra Hegedus of Virginia Beach; three brothers, E.O. Pavey Jr. of Virginia Beach, William M. Pavey of Virginia Beach and Cecil D. Pavey of Alabama; a granddaughter, Brittany Adams of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Don Wilson. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bayside Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
