Katherine Jones Carroll, 59, born in Norfolk, died Oct. 20, 1996, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Carroll; a daughter, Sandra Brooks; a son, Bruce L. Hooks; four sisters; four brothers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Frank Casper. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
