Mathilda B. Jelks, 63, died Oct. 20, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was a purchasing agent for PWC-Norfolk Naval Base for 15 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna L. Jelks of Virginia Beach; two sons, Robert K. Jelks of Norfolk, and John R. Jelks and his wife, Linda, of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Fr. Edward L. Richardson.
