Nita Baber Wise, 68, of South Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1996.
She was the widow of Harold J. Wise and was also predeceased by a grandson, Lee Walsh.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janice Wise and George Walsh of Virginia Beach; a son and daughter-in-law, James Patton and Casey Wise of Springfield, Va.; five grandchildren, Cara Wise, Zack Wise, Justin Young, James Walsh and Mary Spencer Walsh; a brother, Fred F. Baber, and three sisters, Emily Fisher, Frankie Mahtaney and Anne Holmes.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in All Saints Episcopal Church, 121 Franklin St., South Hill. The family will receive friends today and Friday at the residence, 211 E. Atlantic St., South Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or Pre-School. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home, South Hill, is in charge.
