CARWELL E. GARDNER II

Carwell E. ``Mr. Gee'' Gardner II, 57, of the 900 block of Dogwood Terrace died Oct. 20 in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

A native of Baltimore, Mr. Gardner was a member of New Hope COGIC, Norfolk. He was a shipfitter at Metro Machine for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dianne Gardner; daughters, Ms. Adrian Gardner of Baltimore and Dana L. Gardner of Norfolk; sons, Carwell E. Gardner III of Baltimore, Redonda Gardner, Dove Gardner of Louisville, Ky., Kamal E. Gardner and Brandon C. Gardner of Norfolk; his mother, Ms. Gertrude Lincoln; a sister, Lydia Harris of Catonsville, Md.; a brother, Carwell Lincoln Sr. of Baltimore; grandchildren, Tiara Gardner and Carwell Gardner; and friends, brothers-in-law, Joseph Harris and Mushin Mohammad. He was predeceased by his father, Mr. Carwell Lincoln.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at 3232 Brest Ave., Norfolk, by Dr. Herman Clark Sr. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
