Flora V. Grant of the 700 block of W. 36th St. died Oct. 18, 1996, in her residence.
She was a homemaker and a native of Rich Square, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Wilkins Grant.
Survivors include her sisters, Catherine Watson of Rich Square, Fannie Brown of Portsmouth, Elder Hattie Reed, Ruth Grant and Mildred Bond, all of Norfolk; brothers, Claudie Grant of Branchville, Va., Lloyd Grant of Aulander, N.C., and Floyd Grant of Woodland, N.C.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Combo Baptist Church, Rich Square, by the Rev. Darius L. Morris. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Riddick Funeral Service.
