ANNIE M. HARRIS

Annie Mae Harris, 84, of the 2000 block of Angora Drive, died Oct. 22, 1996, in a local hospital.

A native of Gladys, Va., Mrs. Harris was the widow of Overton F. Harris.

Survivors include her daughters, Peggy H. Doxey and her husband, Isaac W. Doxey Jr. of Chesapeake, Juanita H. Weeber and her husband, Joseph F. Weeber of Chesapeake, and Shelby H. Decker and her husband, Robert Richard Decker of Purcellville, Va.; a brother, Tracy S. Elder of Aylett, Va.; five granddaughters, Sharon Hoel of Chesapeake, Laura Sperling of Glendale, Md., Lisa Beatty of Leesburg, Va., Dana Decker of Purcellville, Tracy Weeber of Chesapeake; three grandsons, I. William Doxey III of Chesapeake, Robert Richard Decker of Purcellville and William Joseph Weeber of Chesapeake; a great-granddaughter, Emily Beatty of Leesburg; two great-grandsons, Marshall S. Hoel and Tyler W. Hoel, both of Chesapeake.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park by Pastor Bobby Rumer. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
