Dawn E. McNamee, 41, died Oct. 23, 1996, at her residence.
Born in Portsmouth, she was a member of Carrow Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Francis J. NcNamee; two daughters, Melissa Megan McNamee and Alicia Dawn McNamee, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Sandra Carmine of Portsmouth; her father, James Moore Sr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Catherine Stass of Portsmouth; two brothers, Tamblyn Moore of Portsmouth and James Moore Jr. of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. A. Kenneth Carlton Jr. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, and then will go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hampton Roads Chapter, 405 S. Parliament Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
