Annie Hoggard Rawls, 93, of Route 2, died Oct. 24, 1996, in Guardian Care, Ahoskie.
Born in Bertie County, she was a homemaker and member of St. John's Baptist Church, RFD, Ahoskie.
Survivors include a son, Linwood Rawls and wife, Louise, Ahoskie; a sister, Daisy Brown of Ahoskie; a brother, Cecil Hoggard of Aulander; grandchildren, Deborah Rawls Ross and husband, Scott, of Raleigh, Lee Rawls Jr. of Raleigh; and a great-grandchild, Justin Ross of Raleigh.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Ahoskie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
