Barry Norman Sussman, 56, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 1996, in a local hospital.
He was an urban planner for Palm Beach County, Fla. He was born in Washington, D.C., and was the son of the late Arthur and Lillian M. Sussman.
Mr. Sussman was a graduate of the University of Maryland, received his master's degree in urban planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was a former faculty member at New York University. He was a member of the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Institute.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda L. Barnes, and a brother, Gilbert Sussman of Silver Spring, Md.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home by Rabbi Lawrence Forman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local chapter of the Leukemia Society of America.
