Lois V. Vaughan, 82, of the 1100 block of Cresthaven Lane, died Oct. 23, 1996.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she was a secretary for 20 years at Noland Co. General Office before her retirement in 1977. She was the widow of Philip M. Vaughan, a member of First United Methodist Church, Newport News, and a life master in A.C.B.L.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Harrison of Virginia Beach; sons, Philip M. Vaughan of Concord, N.H., and David B. Vaughan of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Lucille Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a brother, Omar Blackman of Cleveland; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Peninsula Memorial Gardens, Newport News. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chafel, is in charge.
