``EZ Streets''
CBS, Wednesdays at 10 p.m. (Two-hour sneak preview at 9 tonight)
Cast: Ken Olin, Joe Pantoliano, Jason Gedrick and Debrah Farentino.
Plotline: Series revolves around a detective, played by Olin, who is out to prove his friend and father were not corrupt cops, and Danny Rooney (played by Gedrick), who's newly released from prison and tempted to go back to life with the local crime syndicate.
Mini-review: Viewers will find this drama hard to follow, with good cops posing as bad cops, and bad cops posing as good one. There's not a likable character in the cast, and Pantoliano as a crime boss is particularly offensive. Nobody to root for in this series. It's been shot in feature-film style, but that won't save it. ** (Out of a possible five). ILLUSTRATION: Color photo
