Edward L. Nosek, 84, of the 1400 block of Gabriel Drive, died Oct. 26, 1996, in Hampton.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he was the widower of Anna S. Nosek. Mr. Nosek was a retired chemical operator. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Kenmore, N.Y., Knights of St. John at St. Mathews Church, Buffalo, and St. Vincent dePaul at St. Margarets Catholic Church, Buffalo.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Szulczewski and her husband, Michael, of Sunrise, Fla., and Marty Schiller of Virginia Beach; and a grandson, Neil Pendergast of Norfolk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by Father William Dale. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. today with a visitation to follow in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
