Constance Lambert Buckingham Latimer, 71, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at her residence.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Wise Latimer; a daughter, Dana L. McIvor of Virginia Beach; two sons, James Burleigh Latimer II and his wife, Joanne, of Virginia Beach, and Larry Thomas Latimer and his wife, Sherry, of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Benjamin Scott Latimer, Jonathan F. McIvor, Matthew Burleigh Latimer, Brandon F. McIvor, Katherine Olivia McIvor and Anne Marie Latimer; and lifetime friend, Nell Tarrall Brownley and her husband, Edwin. She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Dr. and Mrs. Gerald T. Eaton, and her father, Norman N. Buckingham.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Capeville Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Cooper. Burial will be in Capeville Masonic Cemetery. The family will join friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, Va. Memorials may be made to Capeville United Methodist Church, Capeville, or to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507.
