WESLEY R. WILDER

Wesley Rudolph Wilder, 55, of the first block of Noble St., died Oct. 23, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

A native of Salisbury, N.C., Mr. Wilder was a member of Community Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include two daughters; five sons; his mother, Rachel A. Wilder of Portsmouth; a sister, Barbara A. Wilder of Portsmouth; brothers, James L. Wilder Jr. of Portsmouth and William T. Wilder of San Antonio, Texas; 12 grandchildren; an aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today in Community Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth, by Chaplain Wilbur Douglass. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing was in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, at noon Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. today. The family will be at 1131 Carrington Crescent South, Portsmouth, the home of his sister, Barbara A. Wilder, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
