Arthella Branch Almond, 83, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., a lifelong resident of Norfolk, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Almond was the widow of the late Herbert Almond and was predeceased by her only son, Romeo Branch Williams. She is survived by one granddaughter, Sabrina Williams; four grandsons, Raymond Williams, Louie Williams, Maurice Williams and Pernell Herbert; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the home of Clyde Brown Sr., 401 Poplar Hall Circle. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
