The upcoming presidential election is unlike any other held during my 69 years. The honesty and patriotism of the president seem to be questioned daily. If we believe the ``news'' media, the average voter's attitude is, ``I don't care if he's dishonest as long as I get mine.''
Sixty-five years ago that same attitude existed in Germany. Surely by now we should all know that honesty and integrity are non-negotiable requirements for any leader, anywhere, anytime. For these reasons I intend to vote for Bob Dole.
