Delzora S. Sallee, 79, of the 1200 block of Warfield Drive died Oct. 26, 1996. A native of Halifax County, N.C., she was the widow of James A. Sallee, and a member of St. John Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Smith and Albert Smith of Washington, D.C.; her daughters, Marilyn Sallee of Portsmouth and Sharon Bruso of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in St. John Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald E. Rodgers. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. The family will receive visitors and friends at 1203 Warfield Drive. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
