TUNES FOR DOLE MAN

Regarding the Dole campaign's efforts to use James Brown's ``Soul Man'' for their theme song, I think they really lucked out when James Brown turned them down. The parodies that ensued would have been downright embarrassing.

With sincere apologies to James Brown, here's the song used as a comment on:

Dole's age: ``I'm an old man'' or ``I've got mold man.''

PAC contributors: ``I'm a sold man.''

On Dole's chances of living in the White House: ``I'm out in the cold man.''

Sign me: I'm a Dole fan. . . not!
