FANNIE S. TYLER

Fannie Smith Tyler, 82, of the 100 block of Ruby St., died Nov. 3, 1996, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.

Mrs. Tyler was born in Bertie County and was the widow of Ashley Liverman ``Pete'' Tyler. She was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel.

Survivors include two daughters, Daphne Tyler Gramm of Columbia, S.C., and Patricia Tyler Davis of Como; four sons, Ashley S. Tyler of Long Beach, Michael Tyler of Kelford, Douglas W. Tyler of Plymouth and Joseph Tyler of Roxobel; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sandy Run Baptist Church by the Rev. H.C. Boschen and the Rev. Mike Jones. Burial will be in Roxobel-Kelford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Rich Square, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
