Angelena C. Pigg, 71, of the 600 block of Jewell Ave., died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996.
She was a native of Portsmouth and the widow of James Lester Pigg Sr. She was a charter member of Believers Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Pritchard of Crooks, S.D.; two sons, James L. Pigg Jr. of Suffolk and Michael T. Pigg of Portsmouth; two sisters, Lucille Ricketts of Portsmouth and Jenny Caprio of Mississippi; four brothers, Benjamin Caprio of Suffolk, Buddy Caprio of Richmond, Dallas Caprio of Arizona and Henry Caprio of Florida; and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Scott Ranck. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and other times at 2904 Ames Cove Drive, Suffolk.
