THOMAS W. WINSLOW

Thomas William Winslow passed away at his residence in the 1400 block of E. Ocean View Ave., on his 87th birthday, Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996.

Born in Elizabeth City, N.C., he was retired owner and operator of Auto Emergency Agency and Garage.

Mr. Winslow was the son of the late William O. Winslow and widower of Thelma Winslow.

He is survived by three brothers, W.O. Winslow Jr. of Elizabeth City, William Winslow of Norfolk and Oscar Winslow of Chincoteague, Va.; a foster daughter, Linda Cadman of Redbank, N.J.; two nieces, Patsy Davis of Elizabeth City and Fran Foster of Richmond; two nephews, Jimmy Lon Winslow of Elizabeth City and George Trimeyer of Flower Mound, Texas; two stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Twiford's Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, with the Rev. Dr. David Clay officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
