I wish I could write to thank each individual who so generously contributed to a burial plot for Megan Lienau Jones. Since she had her wish and was cremated, we decided the fund should go to the SPCA because Megan loved animals, took in strays and found homes for them.
We also would like to thank the anonymous woman who offered to fly us to Norfolk for Megan's second memorial. (We preferred to drive.) Meg's dad and I wish to thank the anonymous gentleman who offered to fly his own plane to scatter her ashes over the ocean; however, that task is being taken care of by friends of Meg.
The H. D. Oliver Funeral Home took care of all expenses involving Megan's cremation and beautiful memorial with such grace and sensitivity that all we had to do was be there. We feel they closed a chapter in Meg's death, and our gratitude knows no bounds.
So, to all of you who helped and said a prayer for our little girl, Kenneth and I send our thanks. God bless you all.
