Maurice C. McDonald, 47, died Oct. 31, 1996, in a Washington, D.C., hospital.
He graduated from Crestwood High School and Federal College in Washington, D.C. He was a Navy veteran and had retired from the State Department of Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his mother, Irene S. McDonald; one daughter, Patricia Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. Janice Harper and Mrs. Gail Morales, of Chesapeake; one brother, Kenneth Lee McDonald of Jarret, Va.; a friend, Minnie; one son-in-law; one aunt; two uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Deep Creek Christ Disciples Church, by Bishop Robert Ross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The body will be taken to the church at noon. Bacon Funeral Home, 14th Street, Washington, D.C., is handling the arrangements.
