Katherine E. Overton, 89, died Nov. 9, 1996.
Born in Onancock, Va., she was the widow of Roy C. Overton and was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Eloise Buckle of Onancock, Carolyn E. Martin of Norfolk and Jacqueline S. Jones of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert F. Horner of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Sabrina T. Clarke and Brian Alexander Jones, both of Virginia Beach, Stewart Buckle of Norfolk, Mary Buckle of Alabama and Thomas Buckle of Georgia; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Bob Crute in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
