Cynthia Anne Harrell, 11, of the 1200 block of Basswood Court died Jan. 1, 1997, in her residence.
Cynthia was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and a student at Greenbrier Intermediate School's cross-categorial class.
Survivors include her parents, Anne H. and Mark W. Harrell Sr.; four brothers, Mark W. Harrell Jr., Richard W. Harrell, Harrison N. Harrell and Joel M. Harrell of Chesapeake; sister, Barbara Katharine Harrell of Chesapeake; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William W. Harrell Sr. of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James T. Harrison Jr. of Waverly, Va.; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy V. Newbold of Waverly; several aunts and uncles and plenty of loving cousins and many beloved friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CHKD and Calvary Presbyterian Church.
