Jessie Dildy Brent, of the 400 block of Williams Court, died Jan. 4, 1997.
Born in Princess Anne County, she was a member of New St. John A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Brent of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Charles E. Dildy of Elizabeth City, N.C., Rickey Dildy of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Virginia Summers, Matline Copeland, both of Norfolk, Beulah Copeland, Linda Talborne, both of Virginia Beach, Rena Copeland of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Russell T. Dildy, William Copeland, both of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New St. John A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. E.H. Terrell Jr. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. The family will be at 4756 Euclid Road, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
