Estelle H. Stith of the 1500 block of LaSalle Ave. died Jan. 4, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
She was a member of Third Baptist Church and past president of the Jordan Flower Club, Loyal Workers Club and Trustee Wives. She was also a member of Prentis Place Civic League.
Survivors include her husband, Russell I. Stith; three sisters, Trudy Mayfield, Hattie Mason and Bessie Layton; four brothers, Albert Harris Jr., James Harris, Jesse Harris and Norman Harris.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
