Dieter Reginald Fischer, 54, of Firethorn Road, died Jan. 6, 1997.
Mr. Fischer was born in Berlin, Germany, the son of the late Werner Fischer Sr. He was a Lutheran.
Mr. Fischer is survived by his mother, Erika Fabig; his wife, Herma Sophie Fischer; two sons, Eddy D. Fischer of Chesapeake, David John Fischer of Clifton Park, N.Y.; two sisters, Crista Mally of Palm City, Fla., Lorinda Ciechanowski of Massapequa, N.Y.; and a brother, Werner Fischer of Hempstead, N.Y.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge. The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
