Dorothy Marie Brady, 74, of the 1200 block of Haig Circle, died Jan. 7, 1997.
Ms. Brady was a former secretary at Old Dominion University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk and a former counselor for the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Ms. Brady is survived by her son, Ronald Brady; her daughter, Yvonne Escalante; her sister, Hilda Pecora; and four grandchildren, all of Virginia Beach.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel, Kempsville. The Rev. Richard Baker will conduct a chapel service at 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
