Nelson Spady, 85, of the 2000 block of Hollins Court, died Jan. 7, 1997, in Virginia Beach.
A native of Northhampton County, he was a member of Capeville Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Alvin Tucker of Chesapeake; two brothers, Guermond Spady of Cape Charles and Wilbert Spady of Cheriton, Va., and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Alvin B. Thomas in St. Mark RZUA Church. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge.
