A number of people have been appointed to serve on Currituck County boards.
Henry Donski of Aydlett was named to the county planning board. He replaces Aubrey Dowdy of Grandy, who was appointed to the airport advisory authority to replace Bob Simons of Grandy, who resigned.
Jimmy Waterfield of Knotts Island was reappointed to a second term on the planning board, while Dr. Constance Brothers of Moyock and David Messina of Currituck were reappointed to the airport authority.
Marita Powell of Moyock was reappointed as a public member of the Currituck County Health Board.
Wallace Davis Jr. of Currituck was given another three-year term on the Currituck County ABC Board.
