Julia Foster, 82, of the 1300 block of Elmview Ave., died Jan. 7, 1997, in her residence.
She was a retired bank employee and a native of Richmond. Mrs. Foster was the widow of Burnell Foster.
Survivors include her nephew, Robert Moore of Gloucester; special friends, Duane and Deanna Barham of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her son, Burnell Foster Jr.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be private.
