WE ARE WHAT WE SPEAK

After reading the story about teen-age acceptance of foul language (Daily Break, Jan. 6), it occurred to me that although foul language may be ``cool'' and acceptable, it shows a lack of class and is still considered to be the result of poor upbringing.

That public schoolteachers turn a deaf ear does not surprise me. When you use inappropriate and foul language, you bring dishonor on yourself and your parents.
