Anna Uhrin Yankes, 82, of the 3300 block of Rightmier Place, died Jan. 9, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Perth Amboy, N.J., she was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She was also retired.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Yankes Jr.; two sons, Michael S. Yankes of Virginia Beach, Ronald J. Yankes of Guam; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Father Edward L. Richardson. Entombment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Princess Anne Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad.
