Goldie Mae Green, 91, of the 1300 block of Church St. died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1997, peacefully as she slept at her residence.
A retired custodian for Virginia Beach Public Schools, Ms. Green was a member of New Light Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Lee; sister, Ethel Clark; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also will be missed by a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday in New Light Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Service. The family will be at the residence.
