Harry W. Brown, 84, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1997.
He retired from Shop 02 of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a resident of Portsmouth for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred C. Brown of Newport News; two sons, Dane B. Brown of Mathews and John D. Brown of Florida; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday. All friends and family members will meet at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, at 11 a.m. to be escorted to H.C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins, for services. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
