BRIAN H. ARTHUR

Brian Howard Arthur, 52, of the 5100 block of Edon Hall Lane, died Jan. 12, 1997, at his residence.

Mr. Arthur was born in Cloquet, Minn., and was the son of the late Howard Walter and Phoebe Arthur. He was a retired credit representative of GMAC.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marie Arthur; a daughter, Loree Jo Arnhold of Puyallup, Wash.; two sons, Christopher Arthur of Virginia Beach and Steven Arthur of Buckley, Wash.; two stepsons, William Gallop and Richard Gallop, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Roberta Pence of Minneapolis; a brother, Terry Arthur of Cloquet; and a grandson, Bryant Arthur of Puyallup.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in DeBaun Memorial Baptist Church, 1510 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Donald Joyner. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is handling arrangements. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Prostate Research, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
