Curtis W. Williams, 71, died Jan. 10, 1997, in Greensville Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline H. Williams; two sons, Preston Williams of Richmond and Presley Williams of Emporia; two daughters, Delphine Dunn of Valdosta, Ga., and Pamela Holmes of Glen Allen, Va.; his mother, Ethel F. Williams of Emporia; 10 sisters, Evelyn Phillips, Annie Taylor, Clarine Thomas of Emporia, Mary Jones, Magaline Cofield, Mildred Wright of Norfolk, Ollie Harges of Pasadena, Md., Elnora Uzzelle of Upper Marlboro, Md., Roddie Jennette of Chesapeake and Lottie Woolfolk of Glen Allen; four brothers, Nathaniel Williams of Baltimore, Md., James Williams of Washington, D.C., Edward Williams of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Freddie Williams of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Webb officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Knox-High Mortuary.
