Samanda Mountain, of the 2900 block of Argonne Ave., died Jan. 10, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Mountain; daughter, Doris Mountain of Norfolk; parents, Amanda Smallwood and Aceton Burke; three sisters, Aulander Blowe of Norfolk, Yolander T. Goshay of Virginia Beach, Tammy Foster of Norfolk; two brothers, Ashton Burke and Aceton Burke, both of Norfolk; three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Gospel Light Church by the Rev. George Thompson. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for the procession to the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
